For the fourth consecutive year, trainees from the Georgian Defence Institution Building School visited Rakovski National Defence College.
The guests were introduced to the mission, structure, tasks, and activities of Rakovski National Defence College by Colonel Associate Professor Dr. Zhivko Zhelev, Dean of the Faculty of National Security and Defence. Lectures were delivered by Chief Assistant Professor Dr. Dimitar Drinkov, from the Department of National and International Security, Faculty of National Security and Defence, and by Assistant Professor Dr. Georgi Georgiev, from the Department of Policies, Strategies, and Defence Planning. During the visit, the delegation also toured the “Royal Halls” complex.
The opportunities for strengthening the colaboration within the framework of the NATO DEEP programme were discussed, and the academic exchange between the two institutions was planned.
Such visits contribute to the development of partnership relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Georgia by creating links between the armed forces, military educational institutions, and academic communities, as well as for the expansion of international academic cooperation.
