Mission and tasks

The mission of the College is to provide specialized education for the attainment of higher education, postgraduate qualifications, and to conduct scientific research at the military-political, strategic, and operational levels in the field of defence and national security.

Scope of Activities of the College Includes:

• Training of trainees to obtain a Master’s degree in the professional field of Military Science, in the regulated professions of „Officer for Operational Level Management“ and „Officer for Strategic Leadership of Defence and the Armed Forces“;
• Training of students for the attainment of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in other accredited professional fields;
• Doctoral studies leading to the academic and scientific degree „Doctor“ under accredited doctoral programs;
• Continuing professional development and qualification enhancement;
• Specialized training, qualification acquisition, and professional preparation for military personnel, civilian employees, staff from other ministries and agencies, as well as for citizens—under conditions and procedures established by an act of the Minister of Defence;
• Conducting scientific and research activities in the fields of security and defence, as well as in other related areas;
• Development of scientific-production, publishing, sports, and economic activities related to the core functions of the College and the application of its research results and other intellectual property;
• Other activities provided by law, acts of the Council of Ministers, or assigned by the Minister of Defence
