Rakovski National Defence College Welcomes Erasmus+ Program Participants

Rakovski National Defence College continues its active participation in international educational mobility, providing opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experience among students, faculty, and administrative staff from higher education institutions within the framework of the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.

In this context, Rakovski National Defence College welcomed a group of foreign cadets and students who will undergo traineeship as part of an incoming student mobility program under Erasmus+. The traineeship will take place from March 4 to May 7, 2025. The participants come from the „Nicolae Bălcescu“ Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, Romania, and the University of Turin, Italy.

These students will follow a specially designed work program, aligned with the training agreement in the professional field of „Military Science,“ which is part of the European Union’s Erasmus+ program. The traineeship will be conducted at the „Command and Staff“ Faculty and the Center for the Study of Extremism and Terrorism within the same faculty.

The participants were officially welcomed by the Deputy Head for Academic and Research Affairs of Rakovski National Defence College, Colonel Associate Professor Dimitar Tashkov, PhD, as well as by their mentors.

This initiative highlights the commitment of the Rakovski National Defence College to promoting international cooperation and the exchange of knowledge in the field of military education and training.
