On November 10 (Tuesday) 2020, Marquis Jan-Olov von Wowern was awarded the honorary degree “DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA” of Rakovski National Defence College by the Commandant of the College Major General Grudi Angelov, PhD at a solemn ceremony in Rakovski Ceremonial Hall. Strict anti-epidemic measures were observed.
After the ceremony Marquis Jan-Olov von Wowern gave an academic lecture on “THE CONTRIBUTION OF SWEDEN TO EUROPEAN SECURITY AND WORLD PEACE“, saw the sights of the College and entered his gratitude for the award in the Honorary Book of the College.
