Today, on behalf of the leadership of Rakovski National Defence College, Deputy Commandant for Administration and Logistics, Colonel Anton Bankov, PhD took part in the laying of wreaths at the monument of the Bulgarian aviator and in the solemn ceremony marking the 113th anniversary of the first combat flight of the military aviation and the Day of the Air Force.
Representatives of the Council of Trainees, Students, and Doctoral Candidates of Rakovski National Defence College also honored the Air Force anniversary, as tradition dictates. The Commander of the Air Force, Major General Nikolay Rusev, personally thanked them.
